In 2024, Kansai University celebrated its 138th anniversary as one of Japan’s leading comprehensive universities. Kansai University is a prestigious private institution offering 13 undergraduate and 14 graduate programs, including 2 professional graduate schools. (14 Faculties as of April, 2025) With approximately 30,000 enrolled students, the university boasts campuses exclusively located in Osaka.

As the largest city in western Japan, Osaka has long been renowned as a cultural hub. Situated just an hour away from Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe, Kansai University provides international students with the opportunity to explore a rich tapestry of historical and cultural sites while pursuing their studies.

Having graduated 500,000 students, Kansai University’s alumni actively contribute to various fields worldwide. Our mission is to cultivate future leaders who can make meaningful contributions to society. We continuously strive to introduce innovative ideas and remain dynamic in our endeavors.

Kansai University also provides different kinds of scholarships to international students. These scholarships are awarded for a period of one year and are contingent upon obtaining the status of residence "College Student". The amount of the scholarship and the selection conditions vary depending on the faculty/graduate school. Students will be notified prior to enrollment based on their scores in the entrance examination and other tests.

Kansai University also provides support for international students seeking employment in Japan. Students receive guidance along with a job hunting preparatory course. Additionally, the university hosts joint corporate seminars to assist students in finding internships and job opportunities.
